WHAT IS XFC?

The XFC is the largest pro mixed martial arts promotion in the East Coast of the USA. A premier MMA organization based out of Tampa, Florida, founder and CEO John Prisco had a vision to bring a real life take on the world’s fastest growing sport, Mixed Martial Arts. Xtreme Fighting Championships strive to bring you the most exciting and well rounded fighters from around the globe, from every weight class including both men & women’s PRO MMA, and also including a recently added Super Heavy-Weight Division. XFC shows can be seen LIVE on HDnet as well as many cable networks throughout the country including (but not limited to) Brighthouse, Dishnetwork, DirectTV, & more! XFC has produced fight cards in Florida, Kentucky, Tennessee, & Greece. XFC is currently pursuing national & international ventures across the USA and in 12 other countries.

A DIFFERENT KIND OF MMA ORGANIZATION

XFC differentiates itself from other MMA organizations by holding a huge fan base and providing resources to undiscovered talent. XFC also owns and operates several MMA training facilities for professional fighters, amateur fighters and even children. With eleven professional fighting champions, XFC hopes to reach out to new fighters and train them on a professional level.

FORGING XFC

XFC was founded in 2006 by John Prisco, and the organization’s popularity has grown exponentially ever since. In 2007, the organization set a Florida statewide record for attendance of an MMA event for drawing over 13,000 fans to the St. Pete Times Forum. Every event held at the Forum since then has brought over 10,000 fans each. In April 2009, XFC held its first televised fight card in Tennessee, aired on HDNet. XFC has come a long way since its first fight show in 2007 at a Tampa line-dancing bar, the Dallas Bull. Since then, XFC has produced 15 fighting events in the past four years, held at stadiums and venues in Florida, Tennessee, Kentucky, & over-seas in Greece. Recently signing an 8 fight deal with Hdnet, the XFC is quickly growing to be one of the top MMA promotions in the world.
